Beckhoff BK1120 – Overview

The Beckhoff BK1120 is an EtherCAT bus coupler designed to connect the EtherCAT protocol (100BASE-TX) to standard Beckhoff K-Bus terminals. It provides two RJ45 ports for line or star topology connection and supports up to 64 terminals (or up to 255 with K-Bus extension).

Compact and efficient, the BK1120 operates on 24 V DC, forwarding both system and field power through integrated power contacts. It offers high data rates and easy DIN-rail installation for industrial automation environments.
